Yup! A bunch of photos that I've been wanting to upload but haven't had the chance to because of a lack of computer.

Here's the deal. I took out my dolls today to change them for Christmas and while I was undressing Nobu his foot totally came off. Like it came unscrewed. Thing is, it wouldn't screw back in as easy at it should have. I eventually got it back in, but I've come to a conclusion:

My dolls will not be going anywhere without me ever again.

Last time they left this apartment wasn't with me, but friends to the Disney meet. I'm not pointing fingers, but I was told that my dolls weren't watched all the time. I don't know if anyone besides my roommates (who I don't mind handling the dolls) were messing with them. I know Nobu was held by Mickey, but I've seen how he was holding him (like he could break at the slightest touch).

Needless to say, they will only be with me from now on, and NO ONE outside this apartment is allowed to touch them without asking me first. I don't want to see someone holding any of them (ESPECIALLY the Puki) and then saying, "I hope it's alright that I look at them! Can I take photos?"

If you were at METROCON, you saw my purple swirly tote I was carrying my dolls in. That's it! I had ALL my crew in there and it was never really that heavy!

If anyone has seen my Strawberry Shortcake backpack or my frilly cat purse, these are the masterminds behind them!

Well, my dad sent me a pretty check for Christmas, so I'm about halfway to having the money for Eleanore. YAY! And to make it easier, I'm going to get her wig through Luts as well. I'm going to post all the links to the ones I like for her here for my records. All colors are "milk" or "silver."

Here are the photos from the Holiday meet last Sunday. I will post the second batch of photos on DoA when I can again (because of me changing my email I can't post SQUAT yet). But there were about 103 dolls there. It was AMAZING. Much fun was had, and my dollies looked great. Everyone came but Phil and Lissette came in his place (matching Nobu, of course).

Just a friendly reminder that the Holiday Meet I'm helping organize is Sunday, December 9th. Working on special outfits for the kids, including something for Lisette that will match Nobu. Been working on hers, and it's going to be so cute!

I will have my camera with me there and will take photos. Chances are I'll put them in Flickr rather than my scrapbook here. Easier to upload... XD

It's early, but Halloween's almost here already and everyone knows how fast the holidays get here after Halloween passes!!

We had a little impromptu doll customization party the other night and Stephanie brought over part of her crew, which included the lovely Lisette! Noby was thrilled, and they got to cuddling right away. They are now joined at the hip because Stephanie is going to Dragon*Con this weekend and has asked us to watch her crew for her.

Jamie and I are talking about saving for our MNFs (Soo for me, and Elf Shiwoo for her, but if he's sold out she said she wanted an El), and the goal is to have them for Christmas. She said she wanted to get him when Brittney gets her Soony because that's when I was planning on getting the MNF Soo, but since the Elf Shiwoo is a limited, we may have to do it early... like as soon as we get the money. I hope she can get him because she loves him so. Jamie: if you have to, order him before I order my Soo. If you can, just put off opening him until we can do it together (heck, send him to the apartment XD). Doubt that's possible, but it was worth a shot. =^.^=;; Also, Brittney said her goal is to order by October.

I think their personalities are going to be like night and day. Well, if anything, yin and yang. XD

Also, we're talking about planning a Christmas meet (no contest, just a meet). Since we aren't able to talk often, we are starting things now (ie location). We were thinking about the Botanical Gardens in Largo, but you NEVER know what will be going on there, like a wedding. So that's out. It might end up at Lake Eola. Cliché, I know, but everyone knows where it is and it's big enough to find a place for ourselves if we have to.

My birthday gift from Jacqui came from Japan!! It's a little outfit for Nobu and a mini tea set that is the perfect size for Anya and Phil! I took photos so Jacqui can see how amazing the outfit looks on him. =^.^= I LOVE IT!! THANK YOU!!! *long-distance cyber hugs* I'm going to have him wear it to the "Behind the Hobby" shoot when I get to go. And I think I'll make or buy a black tie for him to wear under the vest... dunno yet. It would be adorable, though. =^_^=

I marked Eleanore with an asterisk because that's the biggest possibility. It means "Light in spirit" and I'd call her "Elly" for short. Plus, since she's going to be Ana's little sister, Ana and Elly have a nice ring together.
