Here's the deal. I took out my dolls today to change them for Christmas and while I was undressing Nobu his foot totally came off. Like it came unscrewed. Thing is, it wouldn't screw back in as easy at it should have. I eventually got it back in, but I've come to a conclusion:

My dolls will not be going anywhere without me ever again.

Last time they left this apartment wasn't with me, but friends to the Disney meet. I'm not pointing fingers, but I was told that my dolls weren't watched all the time. I don't know if anyone besides my roommates (who I don't mind handling the dolls) were messing with them. I know Nobu was held by Mickey, but I've seen how he was holding him (like he could break at the slightest touch).

Needless to say, they will only be with me from now on, and NO ONE outside this apartment is allowed to touch them without asking me first. I don't want to see someone holding any of them (ESPECIALLY the Puki) and then saying, "I hope it's alright that I look at them! Can I take photos?"

Can't wait until I can order her! It won't be until January most likely.

She still needs a name... I'm thinking something cute... like "Dot" or "Daisy" or something.

Here are the photos from the Holiday meet last Sunday. I will post the second batch of photos on DoA when I can again (because of me changing my email I can't post SQUAT yet). But there were about 103 dolls there. It was AMAZING. Much fun was had, and my dollies looked great. Everyone came but Phil and Lissette came in his place (matching Nobu, of course).

Jamie and I are talking about saving for our MNFs (Soo for me, and Elf Shiwoo for her, but if he's sold out she said she wanted an El), and the goal is to have them for Christmas. She said she wanted to get him when Brittney gets her Soony because that's when I was planning on getting the MNF Soo, but since the Elf Shiwoo is a limited, we may have to do it early... like as soon as we get the money. I hope she can get him because she loves him so. Jamie: if you have to, order him before I order my Soo. If you can, just put off opening him until we can do it together (heck, send him to the apartment XD). Doubt that's possible, but it was worth a shot. =^.^=;; Also, Brittney said her goal is to order by October.

I think their personalities are going to be like night and day. Well, if anything, yin and yang. XD

Also, we're talking about planning a Christmas meet (no contest, just a meet). Since we aren't able to talk often, we are starting things now (ie location). We were thinking about the Botanical Gardens in Largo, but you NEVER know what will be going on there, like a wedding. So that's out. It might end up at Lake Eola. Cliché, I know, but everyone knows where it is and it's big enough to find a place for ourselves if we have to.

Made new icons (forgot I could have up to 15 with a plus account) and updated the three wishlists (which can be found in my memories). Also made new doll icons for my kids, which can be seen on my user info, DoA sig, and anywhere else I put those things. XD).

Oh, yeah. One more thing. LESS-THAN-ONEWEEKONEWEEKONEWEEKONEWEEKONEWEEK...!!!!! *cough* I'm good. =^.^=v

How many tubes of Frey Block will I need to finish Ana's Aurora gown?

Yeah, I started the gown! Got the fabric on the way home at Wal*Mart (Mom needed to go to the bank, anyway) and all they had in a princess-looking fabric in all three colors I needed was a baroque-like satin. My floor is going to be COVERED in purple thread and strings. But she'll look pretty (as usual). I want to get a good chunk of this done before going to back to the "super secret costumes" for Nobu and Kiki. All I have to make are shoes. *twitch* I need to make slippers or something for Ana when she wears this.

Unless... someone knows someone with a pair of white, purple, or black SD sized dressy shoes (preferably purple)? All Ana has are sneakers, baby pink sandals, and her white punk boots. Help, please! Save me from making shoes for her, too!! Then again... my birthday is the same weekend as the EPCOT trip... *Puss in Boots eyes* I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER! And make you something for your doll!! PROMISE!

Just got a message from Kathy and Ana's replacement leg part came in! She shipped it today! YAY!

I love my dolls even more today. They're keeping me company while I'm sick.

Jordan did her faceup yesterday, and she's SO PRETTY. Stephanie lent me a wig so I could get good photos, too. ♥

I have other photos (mainly of Nobu's new outfit and his first meeting with a certain MNF Shushu), but they will come later.

And for those concerned with the cracks, I heard from Kathy yesterday:

"Hi,

Oh no! Sometimes these things happen in transit.

Please take a couple pictures of the cracks. Send them to me, and I'll send them on to Elfdoll and I would expect they'll send you a new leg part for free.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Poor girl!

Although they are a PAIN to photograph, I'm managing. And I will get them sent to her today. But for now... I eat (I'm actually HUNGRY!).

She came today! So did her phone! And Nobu's clothes from Friends2BMade! I took photos, but I'll post them later.

Only gripe-at the bottom of her right leg there are tiny cracks. After some normal use, the piece most likely will break off (a la the back of Armania's head at the neck). I emailed Kathy about it. But it's so minor, I'm not letting it get to me. Hopefully Stephanie's K came today, too!!

But she's getting her faceup done today! So excited! So I have to decapitate her... =>.>=;; Fun. XP She's sitting here in her bathing suit colorless and BALD (her bathing suit is black, which really doesn't help). But her eyes are a deep blue. Very pretty!

That's all for now. I want to finish Nobu's shirt before Stephen gets here at 2:30. Tata!

I just ordered my Elfdoll Lydia (large bust) to help get the store going!! No faceup, but I plan on getting that done at the picnic. In the meantime, I'm making her a surgical mask. But I had to get her a wig, since I need hair on the doll to make the hats fit correctly. So I got her this one in "light peachy blonde with ginger brown highlights." She's staying in her bathing suit until I can make her a simple outfit.

Speaking of the picnic, it's getting more people now! I think we are at 13ish. And Nobu may be getting a tattoo... maybe. Since Ana will be getting her faceup I will have to see how much the tattoo would be. If I do, it would be this on his arm:
